------------------------------------------------------------
PROJECT:
Marsh Hall (circa 1866): Yale University School of Forestry & Environmental Studies
360 Prospect Street, New Haven, Connecticut

Date Completed: 1998

Challenge: As a New Haven, CT Landmark Building no changes to the exterior of the building could be made. Because the building is an active educational facility it needed to be energy efficient and comfortable for its inhabitants. The old original windows were drafty and inefficient.

Result: The original windows were converted to double-pane insulated and weather stripped units maintaining the historical integrity of the building. As a result of this successful project numerous additional historically significant Yale buildings have had their windows converted using the Bi-Glass system.

Yale University knew it could trust the craftsman at Bi-Glass of Connecticut. Your windows could be our next project. Call 888-966-3937 for a free estimate.

PROJECT:
Private residence (circa 1895)
, 4 Manor Place, New Rochelle, NY (Historic district)

Historical projects like this striking residence in New Rochelle require skill, patience and a system that works every time. Bi-Glass of Connecticut has it down to a science and we are very proud of the work we do.

Challenge:
To maintain the original character and integrity of the original wood windows at a competitive price. Original windows were made from +/- 100 year old dense lumber compared to new windows made from +/- 10 year old new growth wood which will not last as long.

Result: All single pane deteriorated original windows repaired with epoxy consolidation techniques and converted to double-pane insulated and weather stripped units. Original windows now have same energy ratings as new quality double-pane wood replacement units. Price to convert using the Bi-Glass system was considerably less than quote for new Marvin window replacements.

The Bi-Glass system will allow you to enjoy your beautiful wooden windows like never before. Because now they are convenient, snug and functional as well as beautiful.
